Since its inception in 1955 in Pretoria, SNA Civil & Structural Engineers (Pty) Ltd has been involved in all aspects of Civil Engineering and in particular has specialized in Roads Engineering and other Infrastructure related work and all the sub-divisions thereof, including bridges and other related structures.
The company has been practising for almost 60 years and has undertaken projects for almost all the State Road Authorities in South Africa as well as for various local authorities and other large private bodies. The company has enjoyed continued growth and the number of personnel is approximately 320 at present, including ±50 qualified engineers.

SNA has a number of service orientated subsidiaries which assist the company in the performance of its functions, the major one being SNALAB which is principally a service arm of the company but also operates commercially as a laboratory providing services in the field of Civil Engineering and Soils and Material Testing.
SNA is the leading consulting engineer for the Witbank to Maputo Toll Road of the Maputo Development Corridor which resulted in various new roads and road rehabilitation projects in both South Africa and Mozambique.
